Andrew Linnell resides in the suburban hinterland of Hudson, MA. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan (MSE ’73) and Emerson College, UK (’79). After retiring from a 42-year career in the computer industry, Andrew rediscovered his love for children’s stories. 33 years after publication of his first book, The Dance of the Elves, Andrew rebirthed this book int o a series with the sequel, From the Forest to the Sea. These stories follow the adventures of an elf, Beecher, whose explorations lead children to an appreciation of the depth and breadth of Nature. Also, in retirement, he co-founded MysTech, https://mystech.org/ an Anthroposophical organization that seeks to cultivate the healthy application of technology and its mysteries into our evolving human life according to Steiner’s indications for the West concerning the Man-Machine relationship. He has authored five study-guide books for MysTech that contain lectures by Steiner along with commentary and leading questions. He is busy writing a book The Role of Technology in Human Evolution. He also spends way too much time in front of a screen performing Admin duties for various Facebook groups including Anthroposophy, MysTech, and Anthroposophy and Mechanical Occultism. He is the father of three Waldorf graduates. Oddly, all three are in the computer field.
