Robert McDermott is president emeritus and professor emeritus of the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and is the former president and board chair of many anthroposophical institutions. He has written and lectured extensively on the evolution of consciousness, the spiritual mission of America, eastern and western spiritual masters, Rudolph Steiner, and anthroposophy.
